Fostering the Family’s chief executive officer, Kim Trainer (left), and chief operating officer, Betsy Ruch, use Operation Round Up funds to aid families wanting to foster children in the Carolinas. Trainer says, “Community programs like Operation Round Up enable
us to strategically care for each family physically, emotionally
and spiritually. Through supporting families in their call to foster, Fostering the Family helps ensure children are placed in loving, well- equipped homes.”
Kathy Grier, executive director of the York County Free Clinic, with the clinic’s volunteer physician and medical director, Dr. Donald Shuler. Grier says, “Our community realizes that many of our neighbors cannot afford health insurance and need health care. Thanks to programs like Operation Round Up, we can provide our patients quality, compassionate health care at no charge.”
