Capital Credits
VALUE COMES in many shapes and sizes at York
Electric Cooperative because it is our goal to provide
more than just reliable energy. That’s right–you’re not
just a consumer at YEC, you are a member. And, as part of your membership, you receive capital credits which are allocated from excess revenues your cooperative earned during the year. This year, we retired $1.4 million dollars, the most in YEC’s history. Didn’t receive a check or bill credit? Visit us online at www.yorkelectric.net to see if you are named on our undeliverable list. It’s your money, so please help us pay you!
   Too Close for Comfort
TRIMMING RIGHT OF WAY is another way your Cooperative works to provide you with reliable service. Tree limbs growing too close to electric lines are potential outage hazards which is why YEC is dedicated to a ve-year right of way maintenance plan. This quarter’s trimming schedule will include portions of Hickory Grove, Smyrna and Western McConnells. A map with more details can be found on our website.
Independence Day Closing
YOUR COOPERATIVE will be closed July 4 in observance of Independence Day. We would like to thank each of the brave men and women who have protected our freedom! Also, please save the date for our third annual Veteran’s Day celebration on Friday, November 9, and look for more details in the coming months.
