All-American fun in the sun
May 12 was a spring scorcher—temps edged toward 90 at YEC’s 2018 Annual Meeting. Even so, Catherine Ard (below) proves that, if you’re 12, it’s never too warm to don a squid
hat. And, before it can melt, Milania Dias, 8, (below right) tears into her candied apple.
Jessica Davis (above) helps the York Rotary Club make about 8,000 hot dogs and 56 quarts of chili to feed hungry co- op members and guests. Later, Nancy Moll (left) delivers a rousing rendition of the national anthem.
